Rory Lynch is a guitarist, singer/songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and composer from Philadelphia, PA. Rory moved to Santa Cruz in 2018 and has been gigging locally ever since. He has been playing the guitar for seventeen years and has explored Jazz, Bluegrass, Blues, Rock, Reggae, Bossa-Nova, Classical, Country, and Fingerpicking styles. Additionally, he plays ukulele, harmonica, bass; whatever instrument makes a sound, really!

Rory’s teaching style varies based on the individual goals and needs of the student. Music theory can be daunting for both kids and adults and his approach is simple: encourage and expose. This allows students to go down their own musical path while being exposed to musical theory and principles.
