KiddyKeys is a fresh and innovative approach to teaching piano and music exploration to young children. Our engaging, energetic and highly educational preschool program focuses on the piano, teaching music concepts and music appreciation to young children ages 3 and 4. The perfect step into regular group piano classes or music enrichment.

When? ~ Classes meet on Tuesdays at 10:30am. Sign ups are happening now for Session 2, starting January 4th!

Classes are limited to 4-6 children. All social distance guidelines will be followed.

Where? ~ At our location 216a Mount Hermon Rd. Scotts Valley, California.

Cost? ~ $105 per month (This a flat monthly fee. This fee does not rely on how many classes attended. If there is a cancellation by Teacher Sam however, we will offer credit for the missed class.)

How to sign up?

To register with Mountain Music School, please create an account from our website. Because we are very limited with spots, a non-refundable registration fee of $60 will be charged upon enrolling. This will hold your spot, and go towards your first month’s tuition.

What skills does your child learn in PRESCHOOL PIANO?

In preschool piano we are teaching your child valuable preschool skills as well as music.

  • Development of fine and gross motor skills through rhythm and movement
  • Building of memory skills through repeated music terminology
  • Introduction to the music staff and piano keyboard
  • Creative development through improvisation, composition, and keyboard exploration

  • Improved hand-eye coordination through experience with rhythm instruments and the keyboard
  • Reinforcement of listening skills by discerning high and low, as well as loud and soft sounds
  • Recognition of the music alphabet, colors, and shapes with worksheet activities
  • Music story time focusing on composers, music terminology, and character development
  • Weekly life lessons incorporating positive emotional and social skills to build self-worth
